Welcome to the first open forum. I would like to give all of you the opportunity to share your ideas, opinions and thoughts on what fitness is like in other countries. Here in the United States, we have access to so many different climates, gyms, and terrains that lend themselves to endless possibilities. Our vast amount of sunny days allow for fun days at the lake or a nearby park. You can find health clubs in most major cities. Mountain ranges are easily accessible for a quick hike or snow day. Men and women can workout side by side both as individuals and in teams. Children and well seasoned adults alike have numerous options to engage in fun activities that promote healthy lifestyles and longevity. With all these choices within a close proximity, we have a world just waiting to be discovered. So my question to all of you is this: How do you think exercise is perceived elsewhere? Is it open for all to enjoy? Do other countries have the array or luxury of choices we offer? Feel free to post information from other forums on this topic or link to any videos you find that provide insight. I'm waiting to hear from you....
