The Who In Exercise
Updated: Aug 23, 2021
My first blog will describe who can benefit from exercise.
You might think that because you were born with something that doesn't allow for what many consider "normal" movement, that you are limited to certain activities.
Maybe you're an athlete with an injury that just hasn't quite healed the way you hoped it would.
How about a pregnant mom or one with a toddler (or two) that is trying to juggle a career, a home, and a family?
Are you a veteran who left active duty in a different condition than when you entered?
Do you go to the gym and become overwhelmed by all the machines, weights and doo hickeys sitting in the corner?
Have those endless business luncheons and/or company parties left a few extra pounds around your midsection?
Or have you retired from the work force with far more wisdom than the average Joe, but achy joints from this adventure we call life make just getting out of bed a challenge?
For those of you that fit in to one (or more) of those scenarios, I'm here to tell you that the WHO is YOU!
YES YOU CAN!!
This blog will, I hope, be a valuable resource to guide and teach you ways to help you become better versions of yourself...just the way you are!! I will share ways to enjoy the great outdoors as well as the comforts of your own home. Get ready to find the new you that is waiting on the other side. Let's go!
Thank you for reading. If you'd like to know more about other people who share a similar interest, please add your answer to this question in the comments section below:
